Breaking previous attendance records, the Annunciation Vacation Church School celebrates yet another successful summer of education and outreach to our youth.
The Monday through Friday “day-camp” styled program, which was piloted by the Annunciation Sunday School, pools together children from Kindergarten through 6th grade, offering Orthodox curriculum directed by a team of passionate volunteers.

Activities of the week included prayer, instruction, games, crafts, story time, coloring, a bookstore tour, prosfora baking, candle making, a proskomidi demonstration, and of course, snacks! We are especially proud of the older children in our team of staff, who rising to the occassion, provided loving assistance to all the younger ones.
We would like to thank Emily Coleman and Dessi Chuchas for their instrumental leadership in this program. Special thanks also goes to Toni Chapralis, Donna Wagner, Lou Demas, Faye Vallas, Alexandra (who did a fantastic job organizing all of our fun activities), and all the grownups and older generations who made this program possible.
